Mix these items and let sit 24 hours. Then mix the jello like substance well. I then pour it into gallon containers for easier handling and use.

Dish Washer Powder 1cup Borax 1cup Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 1/2 cup Kosher Salt 12 pks. UNSWEETENED Lemon-aid drink mix 1/2cup Lemi-shine

Dish Liquid 1bar Otagon Soap (grated then melted in water "never bring to a boil") 1Tbsp. Arm & Hammer Super Washing Soda 1 gallon water Mix in contain that holds ATLEAST 1 1/2 gallons of liquid so there is room to shake well. Allow mixture to cure overnite and shake before use.

Make Your Own DIY Household Cleaning Supplies

Save money by making your own cleaning supplies at home using products you probably already have on hand. We'll be using these 5 ingredients to make all of our cleaning products:

-Olive Oil
-Baking Soda
-Vinegar
-White toothpaste
-Lemons

Product 1 - Wood Polish

Make your own wood furniture polish by mixing 1 part olive oil to 2 parts apple cider vinegar. You can also substitute white vinegar. Add a few drops of lemon juice to give it the lemon fresh scent of a commercial cleaner. Mix thoroughly. Dab a paper towel or polishing cloth into the solution and use.

Product 2 - Cleaning Paste for Ceramic and Tile

Make your own porcelain and ceramic cleaning paste by combining 1 cup baking soda with 2 Tbsp. of vinegar. When adding the vinegar, it will fizz and react. Then squeeze in 2 Tbsp. of lemon juice. Mix to combine and apply with a sponge.

Product 3 - Cleaning Spray for Countertop

Make an all purpose countertop cleaner by mixing 1 part vinegar, 4 parts water, and 1 Tbsp. of lemon juice. Put the solution into a spray bottle and keep on hand for cleaning countertops. Shake well before each use.

Product 4 - Easy DIY Shoe Polish

For a simple shoe polish, all you need is olive oil and a few drops of lemon. Pour as much as you need, keeping in mind that a little goes a long way. Add the lemon, stir to combine and apply to shoes using a paper towel or polishing cloth.

Product 5 - Tarnish Remover

Did you know that you can remove tarnish with toothpaste? Just squeeze a pea-sized amount of toothpaste onto your finger and apply to the tarnished silver using a circular motion. The tarnish will lift from your silver almost immediately. Don't forget to use this trick to clean necklace chains.

The problem with bathing from the top down (like ALL other existing methods) is that in order to protect animals from hypothermia animal hair is virtually waterproof down by the skin. So it's very very difficult to actually get down and clean their skin.

Anivac systems utilize a series of comb-like nozzles that reach down through the coat and actually sit directly on the animals skin where all the dirt is. These nozzles are adjustable so that if you have an animal with a thicker coat you just adjust the nozzles so that they stick out farther and can reach down through the coat to the skin. I'm Dr. Preeti Parikh. Of course you want your home to be especially clean when you've got young children crawling around. But be careful which cleaners you use or you could be exposing them to harmful toxins. Some cleaners contain harsh chemicals that can negatively affect your baby in many ways -- causing eczema, airway irritation, allergies, and if they get their hands into the chemicals and ingest them...poisoning! So it's best to avoid all of this by using non-toxic cleaners. Better yet, make your own safe cleaners at home. A great example is an all purpose cleanser you can make by mixing white vinegar with water or baking soda and an all-natural soap.

? CARING FOR YOUR LENSES ?

For safe contact lens wear, you should know and always practice your lens care routine:

Always wash, rinse and dry hands before handling contact lenses.
Always use fresh unexpired lens care solution.
Use the recommended system of lens care, chemical (not heat), and carefully follow instructions on solution labeling. Different solutions cannot always be used together, and not all solutions are safe for use with all lenses. Do not alternate or mix lens care systems unless indicated on solution labeling.
Always remove, clean, rinse and disinfect your lenses according to the schedule prescribed by your eye care practitioner. The use of any cleaning solution does not substitute for disinfection.
Do not use saliva or anything other than the recommended solutions for lubricating or rewetting your lenses. Do not put lenses in your mouth.
Lenses prescribed on the frequent replacement program should be thrown away after the recommended wearing period prescribed by your eye care practitioner.
Never rinse your lenses in water from the tap. There are two reasons for this:
Tap water contains many impurities that can contaminate or damage your lenses and may lead to eye infection or injury.
You might lose your lens down the drain.
Your eye care practitioner should recommend a care system that is appropriate for your Contact Lens. Each lens care product contains specific directions for use and important safety information, which you should read and carefully follow.
Note: Some solutions may have more than one function, which will be indicated on the label. Read the label on the solution bottle and follow instructions.

Clean one lens first (always the same lens first to avoid mixups), rinse the lens thoroughly with recommended saline or disinfecting solution to remove the cleaning solution, mucus and film from the lens surface. Follow the instructions provided in the cleaning solution labeling. Put that lens into the correct chamber of the lens storage case. Then repeat the procedure for the second lens.
After cleaning, disinfect lenses using the system recommended by your eye care practitioner and/or the lens manufacturer. Follow the instructions provided in the disinfection solution labeling.
To store lenses, disinfect and leave them in the closed/unopened case until ready to wear. If lenses are not to be used immediately following disinfection, you should consult the package insert or your eye care practitioner for information on storage of your lenses.
Always keep your lenses completely immersed in a recommended disinfecting solution when the lenses are not being worn. If you discontinue wearing your lenses, but plan to begin wearing them again after a few weeks, ask your eye care practitioner for a recommendation on how to store your lenses.
Contact Lenses cannot be heat (thermally) disinfected.
After removing your lenses from the lens case, empty and rinse the lens storage case with solution(s) recommended by the lens case manufacturer; then allow the lens case to air dry. When the case is used again, refill it with fresh storage solution. Replace lens case at regular intervals.
Your eye care practitioner may recommend a lubricating/rewetting solution for your use. Lubricating/rewetting solutions can be used to wet (lubricate) your lenses while you are wearing them to make them more comfortable.

? Lens Case Cleaning and Maintenance ?

Contact lens cases can be a source of bacteria growth. Lens cases should be emptied, cleaned, rinsed with solutions recommended by the lens case manufacturer and allowed to air dry. Lens cases should be replaced at regular intervals, as recommended by the lens case manufacturer or your eye care practitioner.

Terry was in the resort for the Federation of Window Cleaners annual conference and decided to try to better his existing 9.24 second time. You might think that is pretty fast for cleaning a window that measures 45 inches square including wiping the window sill. But, what makes Terry's record incredible is that the strict competition rules state that he must clean three windows, each measuring 45 inches square, and wipe the sill! There are time penalties deducted for any water marks left on the glass and the competitor is limited to a maximum squeegee size of 12 inches. Terry Burrows said: "I'm elated to have shaved so much time off my record. "It's extremely hard, it takes a while to warm up and I drove 270 miles this morning so I wasn't feeling too fresh. By my fourth time, however, I was back in the zone and actually managed to clean the planes in 8.14 seconds with two half-second time penalties." He smashed his first record in 1995 as part of TV show Record Breakers with a speed of 9.99 seconds.
In 2005 he broke his own Guinness world record for the Fastest window cleaner during The Cleaning Show at NEC Birmingham with a 9.24 second time.
Terry 'Turbo' Burrows said: "I'd never say never as far as beating my own record again goes, but at the end of the day, a man can only go so fast. "I would love to die with my world record and know I went as the world's fastest window cleaner."

Hey guys! Spring Cleaning part II, for this video I'm going through my skincare, hair care, nail polish and a few makeup items. Anything I know I'm not using or that didn't work for me has to GO! The majority of items will be donated to the Women Helping Women shelter.

*BTW this is what happens if you wear a bra that isn't racer back or crisscross while wearing a tank top. Grrr, I really don't like having visible bra straps but all my crisscross ones were hanging out to dry lol.
