This is an in-depth video of how to prepare a cornelius keg and picnic tap for kegging your homebrew. I cover taking apart, cleaning, sanitizing, lubricating, and putting the keg back together in close to real time (so the video is a bit long). I wanted to show everyone new to kegging exactly what you need to do to make sure your keg is ready for your batch, so you avoid any infections/mold/bacteria or possible gas leaks.

The basis is really simple--clean it, sanitize it, lubricate it, then fill and pressurize. In a nut shell it is pretty easy--so get to it and do away with bottles for good! Kegging is a great way to enjoy draft homebrew, pretty much all but eliminating the need for glass or plastic bottles and priming solutions for bottle conditioning. I pretty much only use bottles now to give homebrew as gifts to friends and family.
