Recommended Guinea Pig Supplies!

This video is about all the supplies you will need for your guinea pigs, plus a few extra recommended ones that do come in handy :)
You can use this as a 'shopping list' if you are planning on buying some guinea pigs, or if you already have pigs and you want to make sure you have all the necessary supplies.

Things you will need :
- A cage. I would highly recommend a C&C cage! Check out http://www.guineapigcages.com/ for more info :)

- Bedding. Eg : fleece, Carefresh, wood pellet litter...

- Timothy hay.
- Hay rack.
- Guinea pig dry food mix such as nuggets or pellets, not the muesli type.
- Fresh vegetables and a few fruits.
- 2 ceramic food bowls.
- 1 or 2 water bottles.

- At least 2 hidey houses : pigaloo's, wooden huts, etc..
- a tunnel : fleece tunnel, chube, PVC pipe, etc...
- plenty of chew toys to keep teeth down!

- dustpan and brush
- kitchen towel (or paper towels)
- pet-safe disenfectant
- vinegar (for calcium stains)
- small scrubbing brush
- pooper scooper!
- newspaper

- small animal nail clippers
- corn flour (just in case you cut the quick of the nail and make it bleed!)
- soft brush for short haired pigs
- metal toothed comb for long haired pigs
- small animal shampoo
- pet-safe grooming wipes
- Swarfega for grease glands (boars only)

- pet carrier for vet trips
- the contact details of your nearest *cavy savvy* vet!
- reliable guinea pig care books for quick reference
- notebook and pen to jot down weight / details of any illnesses
- weighing scales (for weekly weigh-ins)

- a small first aid kit that contains corn flour, Swarfega or coconut oil, cotton buds, cotton pads, gauze for wrapping wounds, a tea towel for wrapping guinea pigs for teeth inspection, syringes for hand feedng and disposable gloves.
