March 22 is the International World Water Day. It's the day chosen by the United Nations to emphasize the scarcity of clean water across the globe. To recognize it, the PVC Pipe Association convinced lawmakers to include corrosion-proof pipes in the bidding on water infrastructure projects. That's because corroded and leaking pipes were found causing 2.6 trillion gallons of water loss every year.
